“His Soul is Empty”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
In our day doctrines and philosophies of men proliferate, and yet among those who adhere to such views men’s hearts remain unregenerated and men’s souls unsaved. That which does not ultimately have the power to save does not presently have the power to satisfy. Religious views which originate with man are doctrinally deficient and incapable of satisfying the ravenous hunger of a spiritually starving generation. Only in the Lord’s true church, only in that organization built upon the foundation of Apostles and prophets and guided by the spirit of revelation, are the bread of life and the living waters available.
