Scholars have found that Book of Mormon passages apparently from the King James Version of the Bible contain variants corroborated in other biblical manuscript texts. Franklin Harris writes: "To Isaiah 29:6 the Book of Mormon (2 Nephi 27:2) reads "and with" for "and" in four places. The Syriac reads as the Book of Mormon suggests. (Franklin S.
