“All Are Alike Unto God”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

The Lord loves all mankind, His concern being evident throughout the scriptures. He seeks our welfare and happiness. He wants all mankind to come unto Him and be saved. His love is made evident through His infinite and vicarious Atonement for the sins of mankind and making possible the Resurrection. The plan of happiness is designed to bless Heavenly Father’s children that they might gain immortality and eternal life. To bring this to pass, our Savior, along with His disciples, invites all to come unto Christ and be perfected in Him. This is our glory and joy. This is the purpose of the Church and kingdom of God here upon the earth. In this dispensation of the fulness of times, the Restoration brought forth the Book of Mormon, the priesthood, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—with all of the saving ordinances—so that all mankind might have the opportunity of coming unto Christ.
