“For They Are Sufficient to Teach Any Man the Right Way”

Monte S. Nyman

Nephi concludes his remarks on the law of Moses with a stern warning to his people that they have been plainly taught and will be accountable for his words (v. 28). His teachings, “sufficient to teach any man the right way … to believe in Christ, and deny him not” is also sufficient to teach the reader in the latter day that “Christ is the Holy One of Israel; wherefore ye must bow down before him, and worship him with all your might, mind, strength, and your whole soul” (vv. 28–29). We worship Christ through words, song, and actions, but we worship the Father in prayer through Christ.

The Nephites, in the meantime, were still admonished to keep the law of Moses until it was fulfilled (v. 30).
