“How Art Thou Fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, Son of the Morning!”

W. Cleon Skousen

Now Isaiah compares the fall of the king of Babylon with the fall of Satan when he was thrust out of heaven. Isaiah addresses him directly and says, "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer son of the morning." Isaiah accuses Satan of his ambition to seize the throne of Heavenly Father and preside over the spirit children of the Father. But, says Isaiah, "Thou shalt be brought down to hell." He is referring to the ultimate destiny of the devil after the final judgment.
