This hymn of praise from Isaiah is a poetic masterpiece of worship and reverence before the Lord. Nephi, who preserves for us one of his own psalms of praise (see 2 Nephi 4:15–35), must have been touched by this moving pronouncement from Isaiah. Among other popular LDS hymns, “The Lord is My Light” (no. 89), was inspired by this chapter of Isaiah.
