“But His Hand Is Stretched Out Still”

W. Cleon Skousen

The Lord plans to humble or destroy the proud leaders and humble the rising generation. Isaiah calls the wicked gray-haired leaders the ones who have deliberately led the people in to strange paths. The false prophet have taught the people to believe in lies. As a result of their influence the younger generation is an abomination in the site of God. Isaiah says every one of them is a hypocrite and an evildoer. But the Lord reminds them that his hand is stretched out still. All they need to do is repent.
