“Neither Consider the Operation of His Hands”

W. Cleon Skousen

In terms of human qualities the vineyard of the Lord has been a terrible disappointment. He looked for prudent judgment and found brutal oppression. The opulent and greedy tried to get a monopoly on the real estate market by joining house to house. But all these houses will be desolate, and the cities of Judah will be desolate. Ten acres of the grape vineyard will produce no more than a mere eight gallons of juice. A homer of seed planted in the ground will only return an eighth of a homer in the harvest. Instead of repenting the people of Judah will become a nation of dissipated drunkards.
