Nephi sees Christ, the Atoning Messiah, as the culmination of the law of Moses. Nephi understands that the elements and practices of this law symbolize Christ’s mission, not only from his own vision of the Messiah’s mission but also from his prophetic interpretation of Isaiah’s Messianic passages.
