These three verses are apparently a summary of both days of instruction. However, more is on the first day’s sermon. Verse twenty-three and twenty-four reflect Lehi’s teachings in 2 Nephi 2. The last verse (25) is extremely important. It separates the two aspects of the Atonement, the power of the resurrection and the power to overcome spiritual or everlasting death. Collectively they are called the Atonement, but specifically the two are separated in their purposes and accomplishments.
