This famous quotation reminds us of a truth all too frequently forgotten: When we hearken to the counsels of God, we are blessed in our learning and progress. However, the learning of man cannot save us. The learning gained in the world is good only as far as we counsel with God in all things. Gospel knowledge is the only knowledge that will lead us to eternal life.
