“Where There Is No Law Given There Is No Punishment”

D. Kelly Ogden, Andrew C. Skinner

Any who are unaware of the laws of God are not held accountable for failing to live them. To the innocently ignorant there is no punishment or condemnation, for the atoning mercies of the Savior cover them. His merciful atonement satisfies the demands of justice for all who live on earth without a knowledge of his higher laws, and they are spared from the awful monsters of death, hell, the devil, and torment, being restored by God himself. Woe is pronounced on those who know God’s laws and commandments and yet waste the days of their probation by transgressing these laws. Their condition is awful!
