“Repent, and Be Baptized in His Name”

Baptism is the first fruits of repentance (Moroni 8:25), the evidence of one’s desire to serve the Lord and take upon himself the name of Christ. Through baptism we covenant by an ordinance rich in symbolism to participate in the atonement of Christ by remembering his death, burial, and rise to life.
