God is great and just, as evidenced by the lives of those who obey his strict laws and endure the crosses of the world, such as mortal sorrows, burdens, trials, temptations, calamities, struggles, and afflictions. Those who live above the shame of the world—the efforts to mock, belittle, persecute, and humiliate—will in the end receive a fulness of joy forever.
