The Infinite Atonement of Jesus Christ

Daniel H. Ludlow

The atonement of Jesus Christ met fully the demands of justice in regard to the original transgression of Adam. Thus, the atonement is "infinite" because it applies to everyone in (1) removing the permanent effects of physical death for everyone by providing for the resurrection, and (2) giving every person the opportunity of having the effects of spiritual death (alienation from the Spirit of God through sin) removed through the repentance of individual sins.
