The section closes with the assurance that Jerusalem will be restored to more than her former independence, importance and glory. Note that the city is addressed as the "captive daughter of Zion." And the Lord says: "Shake thyself from the dust!" Arise from thy lowly position! Take the seat of honor! Throw off the yoke, O captive daughter of Zion!
