The “prey” or “righteous captives”—God’s covenant people—shall be delivered; the Mighty God will stand in their defense and rescue and save his people. Their antagonists and oppressors will receive their just due, and everyone on earth will unmistakably know that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Savior, the Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
