“They Shall Be Saved”

A temporal rather than a spiritual salvation is spoken of in this verse. The promise extended to those who do not fight against Zion is not exaltation but rather an assurance that they will not be destroyed when the wicked perish. (See also 2 Nephi 10:16.)
