“Out of Weakness ... Strong”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

The important truth is taught here that spiritual strength is derived from missionary work. Elders who have filled missions with honor, will endorse this proposition. Many of them have received their strongest testimony when testifying to others.

At a time when leaders in the Church, friends and brothers, apparently, were conspiring to overthrow the Prophet, Heber C. Kimball, Orson Hyde, Willard Richards, and Joseph Fielding were called on a mission to England. This was in 1837. The Prophet and the Church, in their condition of seeming weakness, were made strong. The Church has increased in vigor and activity with the development of missionary work for the restoration of Israel.

All my People. That includes the so-called "lost tribes." See 17:4.
