“A Seer”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

Before the days of Samuel, a prophet was known as a seer. A seer is one who communicates with God in visions, or dreams. He sees. A prophet is one who speaks for God about that which belongs to either the future, past or present. This paragraph refers to Joseph Smith, the latter-day prophet.
