Lehi knew these older brothers had misjudged Nephi. They had falsely attributed his motives as a teacher and leader to arrogance and pride when his real motives were just the opposite. Lehi is therefore ready to completely deprive these older brothers of their inheritance if they do not accept Nephi's inspired leadership.
