During His earthly ministry, the Lord declared: “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd” (John 10:16). The resurrected Lord reminded His flock in ancient America that they were, indeed, the ones of whom He spoke (see 3 Nephi 15:7, 21). Also, His other sheep of the scattered ten tribes are to be accounted within the fold (see 3 Nephi 16:3).
