Yahweh reiterates that temporal deliverance will take time and occur by natural means. This is the case with many of our miracles. When Yahweh’s hand moves, it is often indistinguishable from other events. This camouflage can often be pierced only with the eye of faith and explains why his children so often complain of abandonment. We expect flamboyant miracles and receive subtle ones.
