Among the righteous, prophets are always honored. Though warned that fools would deride and hell rage against him, Joseph Smith was also promised that -the pure in heart, and the wise, and the noble, and the virtuous, shall seek counsel, and authority, and blessings constantly from under thy hand“ (D&C 122:2). ”Thou shalt triumph over all thy foes, “ he was promised, and God shall exalt thee on high” (D&C 121:8).
