“They Shall Wander in the Flesh”

The matter cannot be stated more plainly-Israel was scattered because they rejected the Savior and his gospel. The very concept of a land of promise or a land of inheritance is a symbolic representation of eternal promises or everlasting inheritances that will yet be enjoyed by those who are true and faithful-those who keep their covenants. To break those covenants is to forfeit the right or claim to their earthly counterpart. None have claim to such possessions, save it be in righteousness (see Abraham 2:6).
