It is surely not impossible for two men (if there were only those two) to subdue and bind a single man; but if Nephi had been filled with Yahweh’s power that had possessed him earlier, he could not have been bound by any number of men. As Nephi explains, however, he understood that his strength was not always his own and that Yahweh was permitting this action.
