“Ye Are Murderers in Your Hearts”
Men will be judged by their works and by the desires of their hearts (see Alma 41:3; D&C 137:9). Nephi’s wicked brothers would have killed him and their father had not the Lord intervened, for which desires they will be fully accountable come the day of judgment.
