Hatred
Both the Jews of Jerusalem and Laman and Lemuel sought to kill Lehi. The citizenry of the kingdom of darkness do not respond to truth with indifference: theirs is a murderous hatred. The truths of heaven can always be identified by the anger they kindle among those who refuse to repent.
