“Whoso Shall Publish Peace”
Isaiah proclaimed: “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!” (Isaiah 52:7). It is to Abinadi that we turn for helpful and inspired commentary upon these words; this Nephite prophet informs us that Isaiah had reference to the blessed state of the prophets and preachers and teachers of all ages who have declared the gospel of peace, the glad tidings (Luke 2:10; Mosiah 3:3; Alma 13:22-23; Helaman 13:7)-the witness of the condescension and ministry of the Great God-and have thereby borne testimony of the Prince and Founder and Source of Peace (see Mosiah 15:13-18).
