Through the errors and misjudgments of men, many valuable truths were removed from the Bible. Because of this, many people stumble when depending on the Bible alone, and Satan can have power over them because of the plain and precious things that have been taken out of this book. Through the Book of Mormon the Lord has restored the fulness of the gospel in its pristine purity and plainness. This additional testament of Christ is indeed what the Prophet Joseph said it is: “I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get closer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book” (Introduction to the Book of Mormon).
