“A Church Which is Most Abominable”
We note carefully the language of Nephi and discover that there are degrees of abomination, levels of lasciviousness. Secret combinations began with Cain (Moses 5), but in this vision we are made aware of the formation of a church which was “most abominable above all other churches.”
