I Nephi, Returned from Speaking with the Lord, to the Tent of My Father

Nephi, grief-stricken, had, evidently, retired to some solitary place where he could pour out his soul in prayer, undisturbed, on behalf of his rebellious brothers, and where the Lord answered him, as recorded in the previous chapter, vv. 19-24. Then he returned to the tent. This was the turning point in the life of young Nephi. (See note, chapter 2)
