“They Shall All Be Saved with Their Little Children”

W. Cleon Skousen

The Lord says the doctrine of repentance and baptism can only apply to children who have reached the age of accountability.2 The scripture is plain that the age of accountability begins with age eight and the Lord places a responsibility on parents to have them baptized at this age.3 This is because the Lord says that once children reach this age they are capable of committing sin and will be held accountable for those sins unless they repent and are baptized.
