The last two survivors, Coriantumr and Shiz, show again their animal nature. Anyone who has seen a chicken or other animal beheaded has seen a similar reaction as Shiz (v. 31). Shiz lived to fulfill his oath to kill Coriantumr (14:24; 15:5), but only the Lord can tell the unconditional result of a persons actions or fate.
