In the third year of the war a man rose up against Coriantumr named Shared, and after a series of battles he did succeed in bringing Coriantumr into captivity. However, the sons of Coriantumr rallied a great force and they rescued their father so that he once more became king. However, nothing was really settled and the war continued between various factions in various parts of the land. The secret combination was particularly active during this period.
