“It Is Impossible for the Tongue to Describe”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet

The Nephite descent into the depths of wickedness surpassed even the power of Mormon’s words to describe the awfulness of their condition. There was so much bloodshed and carnage among the warring Nephites and Lamanites that it could not adequately be recorded in Mormon’s sacred record. Despite all of this tribulation, the Nephites still would not repent and turn to the Lord.
