Now as Jesus prepares to leave them he reminds them that the key to salvation is to follow the strait and narrow path that leads to the tree of life. We must not become discouraged when we observe that relatively few make the grade. Salvation is an individual achievement. Each must find the way and stay on the path because certain things have to be accomplished during our earth life or the sleep of death will overtake us and the night cometh wherein no man can work.
