Jesus next declares that there is a sacred responsibility on the part of the Saints to record the history and doctrines of the kingdom. We are a record-keeping people and out of the books we will be ultimately judged. Of course, human record are never perfect. However, there is a record kept in heaven which is perfect, and it is out of God's record that we are ultimately judged.
