In verse 14, the Messiah had confirmed that the Nephites had received and would continue to possess a land of inheritance. In verse 29, he had also confirmed that Israel in the Old World would have the land of Jerusalem for their inheritance. Here he confirms both promises. Although the two promised lands are on two different continents and the physical gathering will, therefore, have two centers, Israel will be spiritually united.
