In the same miraculous way that Jesus fed the five thousand on the shores of Galilee, the Savior now used that same power over the elements to provide both the bread and the wine for this sacramental service. But this was a new ordinance. Jesus therefore proceeded to explain to the newcomers the significance of these sacramental emblems of bread and wine.
