“Gave Glory to Jesus”

D. Kelly Ogden, Andrew C. Skinner

Standing up to take a break from the intense spiritual outpouring, the people joined Jesus in another sacrament meeting, as he miraculously provided the emblems of his body and blood, and they “gave glory to Jesus.” That the ordinance of the sacrament was conducted two times in as many days by the very Being to be remembered in the ordinance ought to teach us something about its true significance. Of the many ordinances we participate in for ourselves during our lifetime, most are only done once in our behalf, but the sacrament is not one of those.
