“Pray in Your Families”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

The Lord instructs us to pray in our families in His name, that all might be blessed. We are to ask (as directed by the Spirit) the things that are right (see D&C 88:64–65). If we do so with faith, it shall be given us. We should always remember that our Savior is our advocate. We pray in His name. We can only come to the Father in and through the Lord Jesus Christ (see John 14:6). Let us seek in our prayers for strength to do the will of the Father even as Nephi (see Helaman 10:5). Again, let us pray together as a family in the name of Jesus Christ for the welfare of our loved ones.
