Mormons view the sacrament as a “remembrance” of the Savior’s love and sacrifice, which is more in line with Protestant thinking than it is with Roman Catholic theology. Mormons do not believe that the bread miraculously transforms into Christ’s body at the moment of consecration, as Catholics do.
