“Behold, My Bowels Are Filled with Compassion Towards You; My Bowels Are Filled with Mercy”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

The Lord, following His initial teachings, encourages the Saints to go and ponder the things they had been taught. But first He is moved by compassion to perform mighty works of service. He prays for and blesses the people, including their infirm and their little children. He institutes the sacrament and the order of prayer in and through His name. The people are taught by the Savior and by His disciples so that they might understand the things they need to know and do. Before departing, He empowers the disciples to give the Holy Ghost unto all who believe. The disciples minister to the people the following day and the Savior returns to continue His instructions about the need to pray to the Father continually.
