“I Will Bring the Fulness of My Gospel from Among Them”

D. Kelly Ogden, Andrew C. Skinner

The Savior’s prophecy of the gathering of scattered Israel speaks of both Jews and Lamanites. Unbelieving Gentiles scattered the Lamanites upon the face of “this land,” the Americas, and caused them to be smitten, slain, and hated (compare Helaman 15:12). But in the latter days, when the Gentiles shall sin against the Savior’s gospel, become lifted up in pride above all other nations, and filled with all kinds of iniquity, then the Lord will remember his covenant and promises to Israel, including the Lamanites, and show them that the Gentiles shall have no more power over them. This warning is aimed directly at America. However, the Lord still promises the blessings of the covenant to the Gentiles if they repent and accept the gospel.
