Like the Nephites—the first group of “other sheep” —a second group of “other sheep” will similarly hear the voice of the Messiah in person. Jesus does not identify those people, and at present we do not know who they were, or where. Perhaps their records have not yet been found, or perhaps they were irretrievably lost. The unity of the “fold” is metaphorical in our time; it means our ability to receive the same gospel—not a shared location.
