Whatever we consider our “treasure,” that is where our hearts will be. That is where our thoughts and affections will be placed. The Savior warns: Be careful about accumulating earthly treasures; they are all transitory and apt to be stolen. You will take none of them with you when you depart from this earth (Psalm 49:16–17; 1 Timothy 6:7; Alma 39:14). But do lay up treasure in heaven. Those are treasures that will endure forever.
