Those who eventually become the children of God—that is, those who become permanently part of the eternal family of God—are those who have learned to make peace. They have learned, for example, to get rid of pride and have stopped stirring up contention and spawning criticism in favor of more charitable relationships. They guide themselves and others to the Prince of Peace.
