“A Just Man . . . Cleansed Every Whit from His Iniquity”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

Nephi, a just man, keeps the record. He performs many miracles through the Lord Jesus Christ, for he has been cleansed from all iniquity. The power of the priesthood is inseparably connected with the powers of heaven and operates on the principle of righteousness (see D&C 121:36). Our righteousness, cleanliness, and purity are brought about through our repentance. This is the requirement to receive the powers of heaven on our behalf. This power is faith. Let us do all in our power to be worthy instruments in the hands of the Lord to do His work here upon the earth.
