“The Word of God… Be Preached Unto Them”
Having truly repented of their own sins, abominations, and whoredoms, and having come to a true understanding of the gospel, the Nephites taught it to their prisoners of war. Those prisoners who repented and covenanted that they would not murder anymore were freed; the others remained in captivity to be punished according to the laws.
